We are a community joined together through our love for the word of God, who is Jesus Christ. We endeavor to journey through the scriptures, discovering truth, and applying it to our hearts that we may know and walk in the revealed will of God for our lives.

Through the blog, conversations online, emailed encouragement and additional resources, founder Jada Murry hopes that people will be encouraged and sharpened in their Christian walk.

Hey Everyone! I am so excited that you decided to join me on this journey as our roots go down deeper in Christ. Let me tell you a little bit about me.

I am a devoted mother of four beautiful girls who I absolutely adore (Lyric, Laila, Jaylah, and Lael). I am also a proud wife to my husband, Jason Murry.

My Background…

I have dedicated nine years of service to the City of Chicago where I currently serve as a Chicago Police Detective (Yes, I get to wear the cool clothes lol). I am also the daughter of a fallen Chicago Police officer. My father, Michael Bailey Sr., was tragically killed in the line of duty in July of 2010. I earned my Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Harold Washington College and a bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies in December of 2010. I have served as a Training Director in the Security Ministry at my local church where members became equipped with how to effectively protect the house of God.

Although I have an extensive background in public service, I am deeply passionate about Jesus Christ.

I came to know Christ in 2016 during a rough marriage that ended in a disheartening divorce.

Through my career in public service, I learned what it meant to be an ambassador for Christ no matter what season of life you are in when you’re called. Coming into my salvation, Christ, placed a burning passion in my heart for the word of God. That fire is the flame that kindled “Transformed by Truth.”

It is my earnest hope that through this platform you can come to know not only my history with God but that you cultivate your own. May you find here a community marked by the love of Christ and an environment where understanding of the word of God, and deepening intimacy with Jesus is intensified. May we all grow in faith, hope, confidence, and love, as we journey together in fellowship.
